Hi! Since there are no guide yet regarding Crackshooter boss hunting, figured I could share what I know. I humbly accept corrections or suggestions if there are any. So let's get down to business.

Why Crackshooter? We all know or should I say majority of the players know that Crackshooter can do well at boss hunting too. Especially at Red Meteonyker where the competition at stake is high and in order to hit the boss first(we are talking at server 2 here where PK is off) you need Crackshooter's range attack. Plus, it can really deal a considerable amount of damage compared to Slayers. Though the only thing that prevents newbies to do one is because they didn't know what will be their damage output and they might get the idea that they are just wasting RPs.

Considering you got enough RPs, or in case you're just starting out, you can browse forums for amazing guides on how to farm or gain RC/RP along the way.

I know you are aware on how to make a Crackshooter or "CrackASAL-thingy" even before I made a guide and you're just being humble but either way thank you and I hope I did help. Smile

I do not play the class at its full power. It gets boring too darn quick, especially when it comes to AOE Farm via Condor Drive.

There is nothing wrong with playing a class character differently. You sometimes have to play the game with what you can get, and work with it until you are able to get better things in this game.

Is it true that CS has higher dmg output compared to Slayer? Because I managed to do 130m. I need your feedback ASAP  so I can change jobs. Thank you for this guide.

I don't think so. I guess Slayer still holds the highest damage output in the pve-area. At some cases, CS's damage could surpass Slayer's but there's just too many factors to consider. But for me, Slayer is still the strongest damage dealer.

And you're welcome. Smile

Too bad, I really wanted a CS but since Slayer has higher dmg I guess I'll stick to it. Thanks again for this post and for the fast reply. Smile

Well, like I said above, CS can have considerable damage. But if we will compare the damage output of both FD Slayer and FD CS with same equips, my money will go to Slayer.

Good luck and have fun! Smile

Shai, do you know why a slayer does more damage. I mean, let's look at the offhand weapon for a slayer. It has 3k atk rate, but only 500%atk, but on the other hand, crackshooters have 1000% atk bonus from Shield. This is based on FD characters. Now, the offhand weapon damage is reduced when compared to the main hand damage.

Hmm, I'm not certain about the reason. But I'm thinking because, for one, melee damage deals much more damage than range. And perhaps because Slayers have more useful self-buffs to boost their damage. I mean, this is the only reasons I could think of. And as I've tried it before, I made this guide and I had a Slayer before with almost same equips, and Slayers dealt much more damage in comparison. This is kinda off-topic but Slayers hit faster than CS that's why they are more efficient boss hunter.
