As you may know i'm a huge fan of visual novel. I tend to play it a lot, although most of them came out in japanese as they are japanese games, hardly understandable. However there are fans out there who enjoy it so much that they took it upon them self to translate it for us to enjoy.
Visual novel are much like manga, with exception that they have voice track and that you can choose which story you wish to proceed upon and you can choose different route within the story and so on. If you like anime, i'm pretty sure you'd like visual novel as well. Although visual novels (eroge) as what they call it, are not for children, it usually +18 so
