(Slayer) Catalyst Axe vs. Black Axe

Hey, I was wondering which was better for boss hunting as slayer, and reasoning behind it. I can't decide between the two, as catalyst gives more hp% and attack% but no stats. Which one is overall better?

Catalyst Axe will wins over Black Axe by the damage.With Catalyst Axe,you will have lower hp rather than Black Axe.But you will get more base damage.Axe is known stronger than Sword because of their Base Damage is calculated more Per STR rather than Sword.

But in this case,wearing 2x Catalyst Sword will gives you more damage rather then wearing 2x Catalyst Axe. Why? Because Catalyst Sword has 800% Hp & 700% Attack while Catalyst Axe only gives 600% Hp & 600% Attack.By wearing 2x Catalyst Sword gives you more Hp too.

So wearing 2x Catalyst Sword is the the best possible option for any Starter or Non Donor Slayer.When you have enough RP to buy Donor weapons,or u just might starting to donate,go get Donor Axe instead of Donor Sword.Because they have same bonus stats which is +1000 All Stats +500% Hp +500% Attack.Donor Axe will do more damage rather than Donor Sword.

First off, there is more to it then, what it is being said. One: Cata weapons are not soul link, unlike how the Ultimate black weapons. Two: Cata weapons have a higher chances of being lost in a PK fight, then the Ultimate Black weapons.

I couldn't agree more. Plus Catalyst Sword is way more cheaper than Black/Shadow sword. And Non-Soul-Link too.
