Question about ASAL

Okay guys, first of all it's not that I'm lazy or something to test it out by myself... I'm just a little bit busy atm so I just want your opinion before I start my testings.

Since I'm pretty new here, I was checking the FM Guides around the forums... some of them mention 2.000 STR higher than INT as the best build... other mentions 75% STR and 25% INT as the best build. In your opinion, which one is the best?

Actually, I'm following the first one (2k STR higher than INT), and I'm dealing 867m (max asal damage). Any tips on how to increase my damage? I'm not FD... but I just need the SOPA awakenings and a DPet.

Ah, to be honest, I messed up some things and my STR is actually 2.300 higher than INT but I can fix it by simply using a re-stat

It honestly depends on your situation. Though if you have the gear of a full donor, I personally tend more towards the "2k STR higher than INT" build.

For my own tests, I'll probably use the Kalgas as a test-dummie, since it's a little hard to find a Templar willing to help me on this xD.

I know I know... my PvE damage is not the same as my PvP damage.. but I'm just wondering... if my PvE damage increases, my PvP damage will increase as well, right? This way I'll find a build with the highest damage on my test-dummie and then I'll test it on a templar. Do you think this is gonna work?

PvE ASAL and PvP ASAL is actually two different factors. For one, PvP it is actual 1 hit skill, but for PvE it can take up to 7+ Asal for one target

I know. What I meant is: If my PvE damage increases, my PvP damage will increase as well (Even if my PvE damage is different from the PvP damage).

Example:

PvE Asal Damage: 500m
PvP Asal Damage: 700m

If my PvE Asal Damage increase to.. hmmm... let's say... 600m damage, I can consider that my PvP damage will increase as well (at a different value of course, not 100m as PvE damage).

I agree with Amnesty. I used this kind of build before on my FM. Considering that I know a little regarding ASAL and FM in general. Lol.

I guess it will increase too. PvP-wise. But perhaps not that much. We have to consider that PvP is entirely different. We have to consider some aspects. Especially your enemy or to whom you will land an ASAL.

PVP Damage = ~PVE Damage * .6

(Though high DEF may be a factor for the custom high-hp monsters here, so I don't believe this is accurate)

If anything, try %gmlist and see if a staff member is not busy and willing to let you test your damage.
