Random Crashes

Sometimes when I play I get random crashes.
Mostly it happens when I teleport somewhere etc.
The most annoying thing ist that I get crashes at the 2ndFloor teleport in Kheldors Cave.
How to fix that? Not being able to do dungeons sucks.

Make sure that your network connection is stable. Always remember to unsummon your pets before teleporting or entering portals. Aside from that, do whatever you can to avoid lags, for example closing the chat box (the shout spams really lags), in addition to not having multiple programs running on your computer. I hope that helps.

Personal note: To me, having two clients running at the same time really helps a lot, though your computer will be working harder. Just keep one of the clients in the log in tingy Smile

Is there a reason running 2 clients will make the game smoother?
Im sure its not because of my Internet connection still that shouldnt affect the teleport process and as a result the crash.
I'll try taking in my pets next time and tell you the outcome then.

I think it's because your computer has to work harder. I'm afraid I'm not using the right terms to describe my thoughts xD The harder the computer works, the better performance it will have though it will consume more eletric power from the battery :S

Unfortunately it does affect the teleport process. It's pretty much about lags (delays). Doesn't need to be the only factor that affects the process though, like in your case.

Yeh but since I have a pretty fast connection that shouldnt be a problem ..
Solved it by running 2 clients at once thanks for the tip! :-)
No crashes since then
