Money Bug

i'm having a bug in wich my penya doesn't go up and i can't buy anything (even though i still have like 46 perins in my inventory so i technically have more than enough money to buy it but the game doesn't recognize this) i hope someone out there knows what the problem is and can help me with this (i've already restarted my game and everything and it keeps occuring)

-Kill a Mop and pickup the penya
-Press on the Perin converter button

i already tried both of those things (i've killed several mobs and nothing gets added and if i try to convert a perin it says that i have too much penya in my inventory)
