So, I heard Crit Chance goes through Block and adds to your Hit Rate.
How much is this true? If so, why does it not show in the character stats? (Hit Rate)

What are the caps?
- Speed
- Hit rate
- M./D. Block rate
- Crit Chance (and how much does it go through block at the cap? 100%?)

Thanks in advance.

Well... Is not show cuz it really dont add points to your hit rate, is jsut that critical change, is it ! chance of critical ! so with more CC you will have bigger change to deal a critical HIT... that way u will get "higger hit rate"... but like criticals can also de blocked so ...

Max Cap:

  • Speed% = Max 200%
  • Critic Chance% same as Hit Rate% = Max cap for Critic chance% 4,800%
  • M./D. Block rate = Unknown^

Thanks but this doesn't quite give an answer to my questions. Smile

And, Crit Chance same as Hit rate%? You know what Hit Rate is , right?

Yes. It is not shown in the character screen because Hit Rate is essentially just your chance to not hit the enemy. What is shown in the character screen is just the static Hit Rate, and your actual hit rate is always going to be capped in this server because of the ridiculously high DEX. All Hit Rate does is to avoid misses. Blocks work differently from Hit Rate.

Alright, I don't have a lot of time so I'll give you a short explanation. Block is divided into two factors, static block rate and DEX based block rate. Your DEX based block rate is determined on your DEX compared to the enemy's DEX. If your DEX is a lot higher than his, you are going to block and hit him more often. So, if you have 7k DEX and your enemy has 5k DEX, your DEX based block rate is going to be high, and your enemy's DEX based block rate is going to be low.
The second part, the static block rate, is the block rate you see in the character screen. This includes all the Block Rate from set effects and so on. Your actual block rate is your DEX based block rate added with your static block rate. This basically means the static block rate is unaffected by DEX. In this server, crit rate is added to your DEX based block.

- 200%
- I believe it's something like 96.75% or so. Even when hit rate is maxed, you're not always going to hit.
- Around the same as Hit Rate.
- 4800%. Note that increasing Crit Rate will not help you hit through static block rate.

Mazey flyff has different block rate% by having a awake like critic chance% you can overcome the block rate%, mainly for class crockshooter, and AXE Type Slayer^

What class do you have in mind Slayer (Very Good for Boss Hunt Dungeons) or ....?

For reference, the patch notes can be found here: https://mazeyflyff.forumotion.net/t1631-monster-clash-patch-notes-29th-november

The reason that critical chance is being used instead of hit rate is that hit rate does not work correctly with the high dex values on this server. As such, melee classes should focus solely on critical chance to hit more. (i.e. Don't use the 500% Hit Rate cloak.)

Would you call hit rate useless in PvE too? Do the monsters have high DEX?

Thanks for all the replies, they help me figure it out bit by bit.

hit rate = new Critic Chance

as mentioned Dex is not working in this sever.

In this server reason why we misses the hits because of HIGH DEFF.

to overcome the HIGH DEFF of the mobs Specially for class Crackshooter and AXE type Slayer they need Critic Chance%.

Sorry, but I think you have no idea what you are talking about.
Or it just doesn't make sense. Because you are saying the contrary of what is said above.

Actually, We know what we are talking about. For one, Mazey Flyff has different concept of gaming unlike the other private servers.

hmmm.....mazey make the server rare and fashionable but about the class looks like non sense because crack need dex but here dex is non sense and dex gives hit rate but still crack block too much in mages what a crap!!

also psykeeper spirit bomb need mp but mp for psy are non sense too...so what we gonna do??we use seraph for boss hunt or pvp instead of slayer or bla bla bla??damn this is unfair
