It think that is probably a fashion helm, not mask. If I remembered correctly. Though anyone is open to correct me. But I think that is not a mask. More likely a fashion. Like helm part of a certain fashion or something. I mean, if you'll equip it, that will basically be your head gear.

During the very start of the halloween event, it was originally a fashion head piece. It was later then fixed to be a mask. Someone must have awakaned it by that time, and therefore it became like that.
