Attempted scam or just over priced helm? I don't see anything wrong with selling kakashi hair for 50rp.

It's an animus dungeon hair worth close to nothing. It's a really big jump between 0.5/1RP and 50rp

But it doesn't mean he is attempting to scam people. Anyone can sell their items for whatever they feel it's worth.
Scam - \'skam\ A dishonest way of making money by DECEIVING people.
But at the end of the day I think we should let the "authorities" decide on this matter.

Just to clear some of your thoughts:
Item pricing is based on the quantity and demand ratio in market economy. Players should sell their goods at a reasonable price without deceiving others by gaining personal advantage.
Scam takes many different forms, and one is aforementioned. Expensive or slightly over-priced items are being considered. However, any item that cost more than 10x, 50x or so higher to its original value is a type of exaggerated pricing scam.
