For PvP Seraph
Stat Build
Seraph is a class whose damage is entirely based on attack rate and critical damage- unless you are a Merkaba Hanzelrusha player. This means that you will have to keep in mind that there is a modified block formula in this game and build your character around it. The block formula is 4800% critical chance, but even though your character has that amount of CC it will still miss hit a lot. That is why playing any kind of ICD characters in PvP is in general difficult.
That being said, you will go for either full STR or full DEX. Damage wise I personally do not think that STR from stat points will increase your damage notably, so I chose to go with full DEX. The reason for this is that it will be a lot easier to reach 4800% critical chance.
Stat build: Full STR or full DEX
Armor
You are going to use Aurum armor. This armor with its better set bonuses will enable you to dish out more damage than with Kalgas and gain more health Points.
Weapon and Shield
As a full donor built Seraph you will be aiming for the absolute best items in game; donor equipments. Equip yourself with either Dark Soul Shield ATK or Sacred Shield ATK and Dark Soul Stick, Sacred Stick or Stick of the Forgotten Paradise. However if you happen to find a cheap ATK knuckle, go for it. Every little bit of money will be useful in the future.
Fashions
This part is pretty much straight forward:
- Donor fashion
- FWC Champion Cloak 3
- 40RP mask or similar
Pet
There are two types of pet to take into consideration, namely the tiger and lion. While the tiger gives STR stat which will increase your damage output, the lion will increase your survivability with STA, which is really good. If you feel like there are too many Arcanists and non-donor players in general being landing devastating blows too often, a lion with decent increased critical damage awakenings will help out a lot.
Pet: Lion or tiger
Accessory
There are two accessory sets to choose: either Donor accessory or Vote accessory. Although Donor accessory has better stats, the difference in price between D.A. and V.A. is so great that having a Vote set would not be bad either.
Accessory: Either Donor set og Vote set, depending on how wealthy you are
Awakening and Piercing
This is the tricky part of the guide. Since I no longer have Seraph, but am making this guide based of facts from my memories, I have to do some calculations to figure out how you should exactly awake your items.
Before calculating, these are the awakenings you will need anyway:
As you can read from the calculation, you are lacking approximately 2610% Critical Chance. This can be reached by awakening the following:
You should now have more than 4900% Critical Chance. If you can find a way of replacing the 100% Critical Chance with stats for increased damage, such as ICD and STR, then do it.
Note: Excuse me for the variety of font size. It is a glitch and I cannot do anything with it.
Tips and Tricks
- Always use necessary buffs before entering the PvP arena
- Make sure that your speed always is 200%. This is important, as your only tactic of killing players is simply by chasing them
- If you have the urge of increasing your damage output for easily kills, replacing 200-300% Critical Chance will not be a big deal. However having 4200% Critical Chance only is not recommended as your hit rate will notably be reduced.
- Do not attempt to kill FD Templars, unless they are STR or ICD types.
- Do only attempt killing FD Mentalists if you know that you will not be killed by their reflect damage buff.
- To kill someone, simply double click on their character and hunt them down. Be sure to kill Harlequins and Forcemasters as fast as possible as they very often have enough HP to survive a hit or two and counter attack.
- Watch out for incoming asals and HoPs. Avoid Harlequins Counter Attack as it has the potential of killing you.
- Keep an eye on your health point. With 200-300m HP you are an easy target for non-donor Harlequins, Forcemasters, Mentalists and FD Templars and Arcanists.
For PvE Seraph
This part of the guide will be short and straight forward. It is generally not much to discuss around PvE built characters.
Stat Build
STR is your best friend. Your aurum set will provide enough HP, so surviving hard punches wil not be a problem.
Stat: Full STR
Armor
There are two armor sets to be taken into consideration: Aurum set and Heroe's set. I have not tried Heroe's set yet, but I believe that it is the best armor for Seraphs due to its PvE% set bonus. If you do not have enough funds for this armor set, then Aurum set should be good enough.
Armor set: Aurum set or Heroe's set
Weapon and Shield
Donor weapon and donor shield. Nothing more to say.
Fashions
Fashion set: Donor set
Cloak: Zombie Cloak
Mask: Any 40RP mask, preferably White Hipster. That specific mask is a lot easier to resell than other masks aside from Hipsters.
Pet
GM Tiger
Accessories
Donor set
Awakenings and Piercings
You should always look for a way to increase your total amount of ICD. However having some PvE awakenings is important.
Helmet: 900% ICD
Suit: 900% ICD + 4/4 MC
Gloves: 900% ICD
Boots: 900% ICD
Fashion: 4 x 900% ICD
Cloak: 50% PvE
Mask: 50% PvE
Accessory: 5 x 50% PvE
Pet: 900% ICD (for the reselling value)

- Helmet: 900% ICD (Increased Critical Damage aka Increased Additional Damage of Critical Hits)
- Suit: 900% ICD
- Boots: 900% ICD
- Accessory: 1 x 300% ICD
- Fashion set: 4 x 900% ICD
- Weapon: 900% ICD
- Shield: 900% ICD
- Calculation:
- Total amount of DEX = 188.75% Critical Chance:
- Donor accessory: 1000 DEX
- Aurum set: 1000 DEX
- Donor fashion: 1000 DEX
- Weapon: 1000 DEX
- Shield: 1000 DEX
- Mask: 500 DEX
- Cloak: 800 DEX
- Mazey Cards: 500 DEX
- Couple buffs: 250 DEX
- Premium: 500 DEX
The list excludes items such as cash shop consumables and guild furnitures, as well as item rarity.
Total amount of DEX: 188.75% Critical Chance- Donor accessory: 1000 DEX
- Aurum Armor: 1000% Critical Chance
- FWC 3 Champion Cloak: 1000% Critical Chance
Total amount of Critical Chance = 2189% Critical Chance
As you can read from the calculation, you are lacking approximately 2610% Critical Chance. This can be reached by awakening the following:
- Cloak: 300% Critical Chance
- Gloves: 900% Critical Chance (It's rediculous, but you're FD, so...)
- Mask: 300% Critical Chance
- Accessory: 4 x 300% Critical Chance. (4 parts)
You should now have more than 4900% Critical Chance. If you can find a way of replacing the 100% Critical Chance with stats for increased damage, such as ICD and STR, then do it.

Advantages and Disadvantages- PvP Seraph
Advantages
- Ability to rebuff after death
- An important support class in instances such as Monster Clash
- Versatility. Being able to buff, PvP and PvE is something really unique about the class.
- Has better HP than Slayer and Crackshooter
- No need to switch gear between PvP and PvE
- Soul of Rhisis buff can potentially save you from a devestating asal or Penya Strike
Disadvantages
- Really, really, really terrible hit rate. You will mostly die if your opponent has high HP (approximately 600-700m), times his or her use of Remantis and knows when to counter attack.
- Lower damage output than Crackshooter and Slayer
- Lacks ICD set bonus in Aurum armor
- Slow attack speed. It is comparable to Crackshooter's, but slower than Slayer's. This is the main issue with PvE Seraph.
